Autumn is a captivating time, a transitional phase where the world sheds the warmth of summer and prepares to embrace the cool serenity of winter. It’s a season of letting go, a rebirth of sorts, where the vibrant colors of falling leaves remind us that change can be both beautiful and rejuvenating. As an interior designer, weaving these thoughts into our spaces brings the soul of autumn indoors, celebrating this transformation.
Designing in Heeramandi has been profoundly inspiring for me as an interior designer and stylist. Sanjay Leela Bhansali, the director of the Netflix series Heeramandi, is a visionary par excellence. Every frame he creates is a piece of art, a philosophy I deeply resonate with in my own work. I believe that every wall I design, every nook and corner I create, and every piece of furniture I select should be nothing short of perfect. This dedication to perfection is what drives me.
I’m passionate about integrating niches into my designs, envisioning them as versatile spaces that elevate a room’s aesthetic appeal. When we constructed the staircase in the project, I insisted on incorporating niches into the walls from the beginning, recognizing the importance of planning ahead. Decorating these niches with carefully selected decor items aligns perfectly with my aesthetic sensibilities, as it allows for the seamless integration of artistry into the architectural framework.
